EdStat: 34,299 Students Receive Vouchers Through the Indiana Choice Scholarship Program

Launched in 2011, the Indiana Choice Scholarship Program is the nation’s largest voucher program, accounting for nearly 20 percent of all voucher students nationwide. 34,299 students received vouchers and 313 private schools participated during the 2016–17 academic year. Learn more about the benefits and drawbacks of voucher programs in our Spring 2018 forum or on our topics page.
