A new public opinion survey finds that the percentage of people taking a negative view of teacher unions is growing, with more of the public saying that that teacher unions are a stumbling block to school reform. Among teachers, the percent holding negative views of unions nearly doubled to 32% from 17% last year.The results from last year’s Education Next-PEPG poll appeared in the Fall 2011 issue of Education Next.
