On Thursday, July 26, 2018, the Fordham Institute hosted a panel discussion on support for charter schools. As the event page notes, last year’s Education Next poll found a steep drop in charter support among Democrats. The panelists, Charles Barone, Carlos Marquez, and Nina Rees, and moderator Mike Petrilli considered what America’s rising polarization and populism could mean for charter schools.
