Over a million U.S. students now attend microschools, making them serious school choice players

The study “Measuring the Microschool Experience: A National Analysis of Student Experiences, Family Perspectives, and Learning Outcomes,” will be presented during the Emerging School Models: Broadening the Landscape for Choice conference, to be held by the Harvard Kennedy School’s Program on Education Policy and Governance in Cambridge, Mass., on Sept. 17 and 18, 2026.
