Predict 2011 and Win the EdNext Fortune Teller Award

What do you think will happen in 2011?  What will not?  Click here to make your predictions.

Choose from among ten hot-button issues–everything from budget crises to federal spending to school vouchers to merit pay and more.

For a chance to win a free one-year subscription to Education Next’s print edition, click the “Enter Our Contest!” ad on the right-hand side of the page where the reader’s poll appears. Fill out the form to tell us how you voted–both your 2 votes for most likely and your 2 votes for least likely. Those who predict all four correctly will be entered into a lottery for the free subscriptions; 10 winners will be selected. (Your name will be held in confidence unless you give us permission to release it after you win the contest.)

Judging by the disputes that erupted over the lists that came out in late 2010, we expect controversy at the end of the year over what in fact did happen. Education Next will act as judge and jury.

The vote closes on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, so vote fast and furiously and from as many computers as possible. After the polls have closed I will disclose my predictions.
