In the News: Alexa, Tell Us What You Think of Voice-Activated Learning in K-12

There are at least six sessions with titles that mention Alexa at the International Society for Technology in Education’s annual conference, which takes place June 23-26, Alyson Klein notes.

The sessions will examine the role “Alexa” –the voice assistant powered by artificial intelligence that runs behind Amazon’s Echo — can play in schools.

In the Spring 2018 issue of Education Next, Michael Horn wrote about ways the voice-activated devices might transform the classroom in “Hey Alexa, Can You Help Kids Learn More?
