The San Francisco Chronicle profiles Salman Khan, a former hedge fund analyst who quit his job to focus on creating free instructional videos that help kids understand math. The 800 videos he has posted on YouTube are now viewed about 35,000 times a day. In the Winter 2009 issue of Ed Next, Terry Moe, John Chubb, and Larry Cuban debated the potential for technology to transform education.

In “How Do We Transform Our Schools?” which appeared in the Summer 2008 issue of Ed Next, Clay Christensen and Michael Horn explained exactly how technology can gain the upper hand.
