Michael Katz is a research associate in the Center on Labor, Human Services, and Population at the Urban Institute, where he is involved in projects supporting and evaluating state efforts to streamline work support benefits—Medicaid, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and child care—and examining child care policy.
