Education officials from around the world met in Korea last month at the World Education Forum to come up with shared development goals. In this video, Eric Hanushek discusses a report he c0-authored for that event,  Universal Basic Skills: What Countries Stand to Gain, in which he looks at the economic growth that would result if countries could meet the goal of bringing all children up to a level of basic skills.
