What We’re Watching: Universal Basic Skills: What Countries Stand to Gain

Education officials from around the world met in Korea last month at the World Education Forum to come up with shared development goals. In this video, Eric Hanushek discusses a report he c0-authored for that event,  Universal Basic Skills: What Countries Stand to Gain, in which he looks at the economic growth that would result if countries could meet the goal of bringing all children up to a level of basic skills. He also wrote about the report for the Education Next blog.
