On Wednesday, March 4, the Brown Center on Education Policy at Brookings hosted a live online discussion on how advocacy efforts influence education policy. As the event page explains

Panelists will discuss a forthcoming report that examines the influence and approach of advocacy organizations in three states that recently enacted or considered school reform legislation: Louisiana, Tennessee, and North Carolina, as well as the implications of a new methodology designed to accurately measure the influence of individual advocacy groups.
