Ed Next’s Mike Petrilli participated in a panel discussion at the Education Writers Association National Seminar last month on “Accountability and ESSA: Where Are States Headed?” The panel also featured Linda Darling-Hammond, Liz King, and Chris Minnich. Caitlin Emma, an education reporter for Politico, moderated.

Yesterday, Bellwether Education Partners and the Collaborative for Student Success released an analysis of the 17 state accountability plans that have been submitted so far. You can check on key components of state plans using this interactive website.
